Location of Clevedon Marine Centre.
You can find Clevedon Marine Centre situated in the
heart of Clevedon Village, 25km east of Manukau City, Auckland. Just look for
our yellow roof at the roundabout on the corner of Clevedon Kawakawa Bay Road &
North Road, Clevedon.
The village has a vibrant arts and crafts
scene, including a craft and produce market on the second and fourth Sundays of
each month. There are also several vineyards nearby. Clevedon is also well known
for its polo ground, which is a popular spot for picnics during the polo season
(summer) and also hosts the annual NZ Polo Champs.
Clevedon is part of rural South Auckland. It is a town within a city - a semi-rural settlement that is officially part of the Manukau city, one of the four cities that make up the greater area of Auckland, New Zealand.
The town itself has a population of 3294 (2001 census), and is the centre of one of an administrative wards of the city which takes in much of the largely rural area to the east of the urban heart of the city.
Clevedon is 25 kilometres from the centre of the city of Manukau, which lies to the northwest. To the south of
Clevedon rise the rugged hills of the Hunua Ranges.
Clevedon is located on the Wairoa River five kilometres from its estuary and outflow into the Tamaki Strait, an arm of the
Hauraki Gulf.
It is in this magnificent world class boating area where Clevedon Marine test most of their boats. Several popular beaches are located on the coast close to Clevedon, including Duders Beach and
Kawakawa Bay.

From the North
Exit Motorway at Manurewa off-ramp.
Turn left onto Hill Rd. Go straight through first and second roundabouts
(becomes Alfriston Rd).
Turn right onto Alfriston/Ardmore Rd, and left onto Clevedon/Takanini Rd.
At T intersection turn left onto Clevedon/Papakura Rd and continue driving until
you reach the Clevedon Village (signposted).
From the South
Exit Motorway at Papakura/Karaka off-ramp.
Turn right onto Beach Rd. Stay on Beach Rd until it becomes Settlement Rd.
Turn left at roundabout onto Marne Rd, and right at roundabout onto Clevedon Rd.
Stay on this road for almost 12km and it leads straight into Clevedon Village.
